MARS RESTAURANTS PVT. LTD.

This company operates its portfolio of restaurant brands and patisseries through management contracts and franchise arrangements throughout India.


The company conducts the business of the Gordon House Hotel, Mumbai – the first of its kind boutique property as ‘a small hotel that’s big on style’ and is located in the heart of the bustling commercial, shopping and tourist district of South Mumbai. Mars Restaurants also operates the Gordon House Hotel, Pune located at the E-Square Multiplex.


The Gordon House concept is being expanded to other cities in India and shall become the first chain of boutique hotels in the country, filling a niche for the discerning traveler who wants the comfort of home with a sense of privacy and warm friendly service.

GOURMET RESTAURANTS PVT. LTD.

Mars Restaurants has a technical assistance and management contract for operating all of Sachin Tendulkar’s restaurants in India and overseas. This arrangement is implemented through Gourmet Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. which is a joint venture between Mars Restaurants and Sachin Tendulkar’s family for setting up and operating restaurants under the brand, “Tendulkar’s” in India and abroad. Tendulkar’s is the upmarket signature restaurant of the little master.

SKYGOURMET CATERING PVT.LTD.

Skygourmet has set up state-of-the-art air catering units in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Pune and units at Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata are under construction with all scheduled to be completed by end 2008. Skygourmet caters to both, domestic and international, carriers and is focused on providing outstanding quality and value to its airline clients.

India Hospitality Corp. (IHC) was created as a blank-check company to acquire Indian businesses or assets in the hospitality, leisure, tourism, travel and related industries, including but not limited to hotels, resorts, timeshares, serviced apartments and restaurants.


In August 2006, IHC raised US $103 million in an IPO and private placement and is listed on AIM, a market operated by London Stock Exchange plc, under the ticker IHC. The Company was sponsored and advised by Hayground Cove Asset Management LLC, a New York-based investment management firm.


In July 2007, IHC completed the acquisition from Navis Capital Partners and its Affiliates of India-based Mars Restaurants Private Limited (MRPL or Mars), an emerging hotel and restaurant company, and SkyGourmet Catering Private Limited (SCPL or SkyGourmet), an airline catering company operating out of four locations in India.


Mr. Sanjay Narang, the founder of both SkyGourmet and Mars, continues to play an active role in the management of the combined businesses.
